Selected users (we suspect the genuine MSDN testers) have been issued an extended time frame in which to test Microsoft Windows 7. Rob from digitalpoint forums send this in to us:
To use it you need to load the command prompt in Windows 7 as an administrator and enter the following command:
sysprep /generalize
You can alternatively try the following two commands which should do the same:
slmgr.vbs –rearm
rundll32 slc.dll,SLReArmWindows
Reboot Windows 7 so that the changes can take effect. If everything worked out you should be able to test the Windows 7 operating system for another 30 days.
Now don’t get to excited this trial version is controlled by MS server side instructions and it is believed this will eventually be switched off by Microsoft when they have the required feedback regarding Windows 7.
