You mention the phrase “Windows User Account” and people will be skeptical, and well you cant blame them as they are one of the most annoying features Microsoft even implemented into the Microsoft windows operating system. Now if you haven’t already smashed your keyboard in frustration & are still reading this article the news does get better. Microsoft have finally listened to their user base and have realized that many Windows users are not fans of the User Account System. Microsoft Windows 7 will still use this feature, but Microsoft have stated that Microsoft Windows 7 will use a very toned down version with added improvements.
Windows 7 will still carry the notifications but with a much reduced pop up rate (THANK GOD) all the prompts have now been completely rewritten, instead of getting a message that some of the Microsoft Developers themselves probably could not under stand a great deal of focus has gone into making sure the Windows 7 notifications actually have meaning & that the everyday average joe blow is able to understand exactly what they mean. No more clicking yes, yes, i agree, continue, i agree, continue, i promise … yadda yada yada.. just to open up a game of solitaire.
Microsoft Windows 7 UAC prompts are in place to protect the user and that is certainly a good thing, but i think 100% of windows users would agree that Microsoft vista took it a few steps to far especially the first release of windows vista (Service packs & Hot fixes later on did address some of these issues later on, Microsoft are no slouches) Anyway you can rest assured that Windows 7 will be a much better platform.
